Corsets must be worn-in gently. If you tighten them up too much too quickly it can damage the corset. After a while, you should feel that the material has stretched slightly and your body has adjusted to the fit, allowing you to tighten it some more. This process may need to be repeated until the corset is at its tightest fit.
